So I’ve never done a listing
like this before, but because
people who don’t know that I
pretty much put comedy before
anything. And so any
opportunity to make a joke
absolutely will Well, that’s
exactly what realtor Philipa
Main did to market her new
listing, describing the house
as, quote, literally the worst
house on the street. Really
I wanted to make my job a
little bit easier by giving it
all out, like putting it all
together and saying this is
what to expect when you get
there. Please don’t email me or
call me asking who are the
seller going to fix these
broken windows? Do you know
about any problems with the
definition? Because we don’t
know anything, but we’re happy
to, you know, and that it
probably needs some work. Her
honesty has made this Florida
listing go viral with the sales
pitch, quote, If you’re
looking for a house that
screams, I’ve got bizarre and
ominous energy, then, honey,
stop the car, because I found
it right here. I thought it
was funny, but I didn’t think
it was going to go viral. And I
think the reason it has gone
viral is because there’s so
many different parts of it that
can resonate with people. So I
have people telling me all my
favorite part about the
apocalypse or the part of the
chimney or the part about the
break window. And so everyone
has a post that they think is
the funniest. And I think that
because it was I guess a lot of
people could kind of feel like
you could connect with it
because of that. And I had to
throw in the reference to
twenty twenty at the end,
obviously. Are you interested
in purchasing the asking price
is sixty nine thousand dollars,
but it might be too late if
you can imagine A Lot of
people were interested thinking
that they could get a deal.
And if you have an under
contract already the people we
have it under contract. We
actually reached out to us
before everything went viral.
And I think they’re probably
pretty quiet about that because
with all of the iPod
out-of-state investors making
offers with all of the
interest, I think that they
probably got, you know, a
pretty good deal on it. I’m
looking forward to her upcoming
listings, because right now we
all need honesty and a
good laugh.
